Credential vaulting. Credentials are never exposed to end users. They’re managed centrally with automatic rotation and instant revocation. This alone eliminates one of the largest shadow AI risk vectors: credentials stored in plaintext on employee laptops.

Why identity is the AI unlock

The enterprise reality
Large enterprises don’t operate in a single-agent ecosystem. They run multiple agent registries, internal frameworks, commercial platforms, and specialized systems. Some agents face employees. Some face customers. Some face other agents.
Governance for this reality requires a few things traditional tools don’t offer.
Multi-registry interoperability. A governance platform needs to sit above multiple agent registries and provide a unified view. Call it a meta registry or a unified registry. The point is that governance can’t require every agent to be registered in a single system. It needs to federate across whatever’s already running.
